Description
It's February 13th, not only the Birthday of one Luna Lovegood, but also my own. When I discovered that, I was beyond pleased, since Luna is one of my secret kind-of-idols. I very much admire her blunt honesty and quiet insight, her empathy and overall perceptiveness.
Now instead of bubbling on: about her present.
As always, 10x10cm, about 70 pages of blank graph paper and cover design made of fabric scraps, acrilic paint and glue.
Her spectrespecs absolutely had to be there, also (at least one of) her radish earrings. (Someday I might be brave enough to get my earlobes pierced. As soon as that happens, there will be handmade radish-earrings!)
The purple thing in the back is supposed to be a ball of yarn with knitting needles. Did you recognize it? Well, whatever, it's Luna, there could be every and any odd thing on here 
That's also why there are the little stones and sea shells on the right hand side, Luna strikes me as somebody who collects all kinds of things she finds interesting. Again, yarn and knitting needles (I think Luna is rather like me in that she likes artsy stuff such as needlework.) and the cork-necklace. That cork reeks of vinegar. But I guess Luna wouldn't mind, but tell you that the smell keeps some sort of mean creature away.
Just in case anybody is interested: I could not yet bring myself to write anything in any of the little books, mainly because I don't know what would be fitting. I thought about some fanfiction? I don't know...
